"This product was developed by accident on a beach in
Malaysia during a shoot for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. I
had been experimenting with the salt, sun and sand concept that made
everyone's hair look amazing. On the beach my hair gel had been washed
up by a wave with the makeup artist's eye-shadow. The salt water and
eye-shadow had contaminated my hair product but time was running out so
I had to apply to product to the model anyway. Amazingly, the powder
from the eye shadow made the gel dry faster and I got the result I
needed.
"With this product we have drawn from the wonders of nature to create
the latest in cosmetic technology.
"Back at the lab we blended sea minerals (for the salt), eye shadow (for
the sand) with a quick drying agent (for the sun). The result is a
product that gives you "the beach in a jar" with all the elements
necessary to give you a great look. The beauty of this product is that
it transforms all hair types.
